CANNES, Saturday: The Lions have started releasing the 2023 shortlists – and first through for New Zealand are DDB Aotearoa and Colenso BBDO in the Direct Lions.
DDB scored three finalists for Correct the Internet Team Heroine, while Colenso BBDO has two finalists for Skinny Phone It In.
“The winners will be announced this week.”
New Zealand entries this year totalled 193 (down from251 in 2022); Australia entries numbered 786 (up from 693).
The winners will be announced at a series of ceremonies during this coming week.
