Deep Media launches in New Zealand with joint country leads

AUCKLAND, Today: Deep Media, an Advanced Amazon Ads Partner, has launched in New Zealand with Anna Walker and Lisa Ison appointed as Joint Country Leads to oversee local operations.

Their focus is helping brands and agencies reach relevant audiences at scale through ads on Prime Video, a growing opportunity in New Zealand.

Anna Walker has led Deep Media’s local setup since August, working with independent agencies and smaller brands to test and grow their Amazon Ads activity.

Lisa Ison joins with leadership experience from Sky and MediaWorks NZ and currently chairs the IAB NZ Emerging Technology Council, giving her strong insight into streaming and ad tech.

Lisa Ison adds, “Amazon Ads entry into the New Zealand ad market marks a significant shift in the local media landscape.

“As of August, Prime Video became only the second SVOD platform in New Zealand to offer ad supported streaming, creating entirely new, insight-rich opportunities for advertisers.

“It’s reshaping how brands think about reach and relevantly connecting with their customers, and I’m excited to help Kiwi advertisers tap into that potential with Deep Media.”

Founded in 2024 by former Amazon executives Paul Kent, Andrew Hammond and Blake Gorman, Deep Media helps brands and agencies maximise growth across Prime Video, IMDb and Twitch globally.
