AUCKLAND, Yesterday: M+AD’s story about the launch of Oath locally came after Verizon announced last week it will rename the division Verizon Media Group/Oath as part of a new operating structure for the group.

The changes will be effective from January next year (scroll down for the link).

Which moved Australia’s B&T to come up with this quite brilliant pun: “Oath has launched Down Under yet, sadly, won’t be reconfiguring its name to the far more Aussie-sounding Far Ken Oath.”

Hard to beat the Aussies at this sort of thing!
