Henkel appoints WPP Media across 30 European markets

AUCKLAND, Today: WPP has announced that WPP Media has won the consolidated media business for Henkel Consumer Brands across Europe, expanding its remit across 30 markets.

The appointment covers major Henkel brands including Persil, Perwoll, Bref, Schwarzkopf and Syoss, strengthening an already strong partnership in Henkel’s biggest region.

This growth adds 13 new markets to the 17 WPP Media secured in late 2024, deepening the collaboration between both companies.


WPP Media’s proven efficiency and collaborative approach through WPP Open – the company’s intelligent marketing platform – played a key role in Henkel’s decision.

The review, which began in June, focused on rethinking the future of media and driving growth in an increasingly AI-powered environment. WPP Media’s winning strategy centred on new ways of working, redefined roles and a clear focus on delivering value across every stage.

WPP Media will now lead Henkel’s digital media activation across all 30 European markets from Düsseldorf and London, supported by a dedicated team.

They will work closely with local teams to manage relationships, ensure governance and deliver media plans that reflect each market’s unique needs.
