Huggies and McCann put luxury on the line in Expensive Sht*

AUCKLAND, Today: Huggies is leaning into every parent’s worst nightmare with a new campaign designed to show just how much confidence it has in its nappy’s blowout protection.

Blowouts do more than wreck outfits. They can ruin car seats, couches, strollers and a parent’s confidence, with the quiet fear of leaks often shaping where families go, what babies wear and how long they stay out.

Now Huggies is putting that fear front and centre, showing parents they do not have to live around the risk of their baby’s next bowel movement.

Created by McCann New York and McCann New Zealand, the new campaign, Expensive Sht*, sees Huggies Little Snugglers tasked with protecting nearly half a million dollars’ worth of luxury goods from the ultimate baby blowout disaster.

On March 12 at 9 a.m. PST and 12 p.m. EST, 18 freshly fed babies wearing Huggies Little Snugglers will crawl, wriggle and, yes, poop during a one-hour streamed event while sitting on priceless designer pieces, collectibles and antiques.

The only thing standing between those valuables and total disaster is the diaper.
