AUCKLAND, Today: The In-House Agency Council (IHAC) has launched In-House Insights, a new independent podcast for in-house and hybrid agency leaders across Australia and New Zealand.
Created as a space for the people building these teams, the podcast is designed to share real experiences, practical lessons and honest perspectives from those working inside the model.
As in-housing keeps growing across Australia and New Zealand, with 78% of brands now operating in-house teams, there are still few dedicated spaces where leaders can compare notes with peers.
Hosted by Abby Blackmore, Head of IHAC, and Chris Maxwell, Founder & CEO of -lution, the weekly podcast looks at industry developments and features conversations with in-house and hybrid agency leaders.
The show includes voices from organisations such as Delta Air Lines, Telstra and Bupa, making it one of the first podcasts of its kind in the region.
Abby Blackmore, Head of IHAC and Co-host of In-House Insights says, “There’s a lot of noise around in-housing, but not enough of it comes from the people inside these teams.
“We wanted to create something that’s genuinely useful – practical conversations, real examples and honest perspectives from people who are actually doing the job and figuring it out as they go.” – Abby Blackmore, Head of IHAC
“That’s what we’re trying to do with this podcast. We wanted to create something that’s genuinely useful – practical conversations, real examples and honest perspectives from people who are actually doing the job and figuring it out as they go.”
Chris Maxwell, Founder & CEO of -lution and Co-host of In-House Insights, adds: “In-housing has become a core part of how a lot of organisations are operating now.
“The pace of growth we’re seeing across Australia and New Zealand is huge, and it’s changing how teams are structured, how work gets done, and how brands think about creativity.
“It’s creating a whole new set of opportunities, but also new challenges, and that’s exactly the kind of conversation this podcast is tapping into.”
The debut season brings together guests with both global reach and local relevance.
Guests include:
- Maya Dukes, Managing Director of Global Brand Strategy & Creative at Delta Air Lines
- Gemma Poesaste, Head of Roam Agency – Telstra’s In-house Creative Agency
- Via Tendon, APAC Senior Manager at Bupa’s In-House Agency – one of Australia’s most respected in-house operations
- Kevin Frank, author of Raising Creative Teams: Practical Leadership for an Emotional Business
