Arrivals & Departures: JOLT powers up sales leadership with new appointments

AUCKLAND, Today: JOLT New Zealand Country Manager Chris Monaghan has announced two senior hires to the sales team, following strong advertiser demand and rapid growth of the company’s EV charging and digital out-of-home network.

Stephen Douglas and Matt Webb have been named Group Sales Managers. Douglas will lead Wellington and national operations, while Webb will focus on Auckland and Christchurch as the network continues to expand.

Douglas brings a strong media and strategy background, most recently as National Business Director at Stuff. He’s also held senior roles at Viacom UK, TVNZ, Fairfax and nzoom.com, with international experience in New York.

“I’m thrilled to be joining JOLT at such a pivotal time in the business,” Douglas said. “JOLT’s data-led approach is transforming out-of-home media… I’m looking forward to collaborating with our partners to create smarter, more impactful campaigns.”

Webb arrives with nearly 20 years’ sales experience, spanning agency and client-side roles. Most recently he was Senior Commercial Manager at Sport Nation and SEN, with earlier stints at Val Morgan, oOh!media and Fairfax.

JOLT New Zealand Country Manager Chris Monaghan called the hires “a major milestone,” saying, “Their combined strategic, business and sales expertise will be instrumental in helping us scale our network and deepen our advertising partnerships.”

JOLT ANZ General Manager of Regional Sales, Carin Lee-Skelton added, “Steve and Matt’s appointments are a critical part of our ANZ expansion strategy, reflecting our investment in both infrastructure and local talent.”

The news follows strong momentum for JOLT, with 102 digital street furniture panels now live across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, marking 155% year-on-year growth.

Douglas and Webb will report directly to Monaghan, with both appointments effective immediately.
