
AUCKLAND, Today: Kargo has unveiled another global first for New Zealand advertisers. Spotlight is designed to serve ads exactly when users are most alert, combining smart behavioural signals, standout creative and premium publisher access for maximum engagement.
In a world-first, Spotlight is triggered entirely by what users do—or don’t do. It delivers ads at the right moment based on key reader actions such as:
- Content Complete – when a reader finishes an article and hovers on the navigation bar
- Attention Shift – when a user switches tabs or leaves the page
- Idle Time – after 20 seconds of inactivity
- Scroll Up – when a reader scrolls back to the top
By tackling the when of ad delivery, Spotlight builds on Kargo’s proven strengths of who (audience targeting), what(creative), and where (premium inventory).
