AUCKLAND, Today: The Edge is NZ’s top-ranked network with a weekly reach of 590,800 listeners, according to the latest GfK commercial radio ratings, released this morning.

More FM is #2 (with 571,400), followed by Breeze (551,100), Newstalk ZB (512,400), ZM (492,500), The Rock (433.300), The Hits (406.700), Mai FM (390,700), Magic (373,200), and The Sound (367,400).

It’s a completely different story in the reach numbers, though. Newstalk ZB is #1, followed by Breeze, More, Magic, The Rock and The Sound (both 5=), ZM, The Edge, The Hits, and Mai FM.

The latest survey (Survey 3) shows 3.61 million (83%) of all New Zealander aged 10+ listen to radio each week.

Missing from the data is the S3 results for Waikato – wiped out when bad weather took down the Ruru transmission tower.
