With a little help from their friends

Another significant campaign for the Heart Foundation – this time built around TV – has found its way to M+AD, via Barnes Catmur & Friends Dentsu.

To fund research and train cardiologists, the agency says the foundation relies solely on money bequeathed to them in wills by altruistic New Zealanders.

So to encourage people to leave a gift in their will, the partners wove an emotional tale around the lives of two people, showing how when our life ends, we can help another to continue.

Filmed locally, The Heart Foundation had a little help from their friends, family and members of the public, to appear in the ad.

The spot was directed by Curious Films director, Zia Mandviwalla. Her quiet observation and emotional sensitivity brings the short story to life with sincerity.
