MediaWorks hijacks Air NZ exec

AUCKLAND, Wednesday: MediaWorks has appointed Liz Fraser as its incoming commercial director. Currently, she’s customer-GM at Air New Zealand.

MediaWorks ceo Michael Anderson said: “Liz will bring her extensive media experience of over 22 years to focus on the growth of MediaWorks’ radio, out-of-home and digital businesses and realise the potential of these market-leading platforms.”

Fraser worked for the airline in a variety of senior roles, including regional GM for USA/Canada/South America.

She began her career in the media industry, initially at TVNZ in the early 1990s, and has broad experience across sales, marketing and television programming.


“We are thrilled to have her on board as we continue to build on our incredible momentum across our business.”

She returns to MediaWorks having previously led the sales and commercial teams across radio, TV and digital as group head of revenue, as well as TV sales & marketing director.

MediaWorks will confirm Fraser’s start date “in due course”.
