AUCKLAND, Today: Loupe Agency has added advertising photographer Sacha Stejko to its roster, giving the Auckland-based artist management and production company even more depth across sport, lifestyle and portraiture.

Born in Ukraine and raised in Aotearoa, Stejko brings a theatre background that shapes her feel for timing, movement and performance. Her work is grounded in people, with a particular knack for capturing sport in a way that feels both energetic and thoughtfully composed.

On set, Stejko is known for building trust quickly and directing with a light touch, letting moments land naturally rather than pushing them too hard. That same style carries through into her motion work.

“Photography feels like a natural extension of who I am. I’m drawn to the connection with people and how their stories come through,” Says Stejko

Stejko’s work has also picked up international recognition, including selection in Lürzer’s Archive’s 200 Best Advertising Photographers Worldwide, along with honours from the International Photography Awards and Communication Arts.

She has worked with brands including Adidas, Samsung, Bose, FIFA and Fonterra, and also shot 2degrees’ Support Hercampaign focused on backing young girls in sport.

“I’ve worked on many incredible projects, but ‘Support Her’ has been especially meaningful, creating images that highlight and inspire young girls in sport.”

Loupe founder and Executive Producer Emily Moon says the signing made sense from the start.

“Sacha is a fantastic artist, she brings a fresh energy to the team and there’s a good alignment in how we work. I’ve been following her for a while and the timing felt right for both of us. It’s awesome to have her on board and I look forward to creating beautiful work together.”
