AUCKLAND, Yesterday: Mango Communications Aotearoa is celebrating a huge moment after taking out the top honour at this year’s Pressie Awards.

The agency picked up the Grand Prix for Samsung’s “The Worst Children’s Library”, marking its third time winning the supreme award, alongside Golds for Experiential and Strategic Thinking, plus a Silver for Best Creative PR Campaign.

Created with DDB Group Aotearoa agency Tribal and Samsung, the project turned a school library into a confronting real-world look at the online harm children face, raising awareness and giving parents practical digital safety tools through Safe Surfer.

Chloe Leuschke, Managing Partner of Mango Communications, said she couldn’t be prouder of the work, both as a parent and a PR professional.

“It’s fantastic to be awarded for a serious purpose-driven campaign and also one that celebrates summer, fun and ended up with a Macca’s reimagined classic being played at R&V.” – Chloe Leuschke, Managing Partner of Mango Communications

“The team took a challenging issue for parents and created a powerful tool to educate on the scale of harmful content online and how detrimental it is. So much hard work went into this campaign and we’re thrilled to have it recognised.”

Mango also picked up Gold in Social Content Creator & Influencer Marketing for McDonald’s “Make it Click”, adding to an already standout night.

“It’s fantastic to be awarded for a serious purpose-driven campaign and also one that celebrates summer, fun and ended up with a Macca’s reimagined classic being played at R&V,” adds Leuschke.

These wins highlight Mango’s strength across creative PR, experiential and influencer work, continuing its strong run of success at the Pressies.
