AUCKLAND, Today: The Marketing Club is taking Marketers Day across the Tasman in 2026, with the community-led marketing festival set to land in both Sydney and Auckland this May.

The full-day events will take place in Sydney on Thursday, 21 May, and Auckland on Friday, 22 May, with central venues in both cities still to be announced.

Marketers Day first launched in Auckland last October, selling out its debut event. This year’s Auckland event has already pulled more than 120 marketers onto the waitlist.

Built by marketers for marketers, the event focuses on practical strategy, brand building and the real pressures marketing teams are dealing with right now.

The programme is designed to go beyond theory, giving marketers direct access to the strategies, lessons and debates shaping modern brand growth.

TMC Founder Chanel Clark says expanding into Australia reflects the strong level of interest across both markets.

“We’ve seen strong demand from marketers who want honest, commercially credible conversations about what’s actually happening inside brands and across the marketing industry,” says Clark.

“Marketing is evolving quickly, from new technologies and changing customer expectations to the way teams plan, measure and deliver growth.

“Marketers Day is about stepping back to look at where the industry is heading, sharing real insight from people doing the work and having the conversations marketers need right now.

“In that environment, playing safe is risky.” In just three years, TMC has grown to more than 15,000 members across Australia and New Zealand.

“Marketing is changing quickly and no one has all the answers. Bringing marketers together to share what’s working, what isn’t and what they’re learning along the way helps the whole industry move forward.” – Chanel Clark, TMC Founder

The community connects marketers at all stages of their careers through peer-led discussions, live events and professional development initiatives.

TMC formally launched into Australia in mid-2025 and has since run events across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, building a national programme of networking and educational sessions.

The 2026 Marketers Day expansion reflects that growing footprint.

Clark adds, “Marketing is changing quickly and no one has all the answers. Bringing marketers together to share what’s working, what isn’t and what they’re learning along the way helps the whole industry move forward.”

The 2026 editions will feature senior brand leaders, growth specialists and industry operators from across Australasia, alongside a high-profile international guest.

More speaker announcements are set to follow in the coming weeks.

Marketers Day is aimed at mid-to-senior marketers, brand managers, CMOs, founders and growth leads, along with emerging marketers looking for connection and career development.

It also gives sponsors and marketing technology partners a direct way to connect with a highly engaged professional audience.
