AUCKLAND, Today: Auckland Town Hall played host to the 2025 Effie Awards Aotearoa last night, celebrating the country’s best in advertising and marketing with campaigns that proved creativity and effectiveness go hand in hand.

Convenor of Judges Murray Streets said, “The ultimate point of the Effie Awards isn’t the rivalry or the metal. It’s the learnings and insights we share into how to create great marketing and advertising.

“It’s the case studies that become teaching tools. Entrants must combine storytelling, persuasion and quantified proof to demonstrate – beyond reasonable doubt – that it was their thinking and creative campaign that delivered the results.”

Presented by the Comms Council in association with TVNZ, this year’s Effies recognised winners across 26 categories, supported by commercial partner oOh!media, Gold partner Meta, Silver partners Cartology, NZME and Stuff, and Bronze partner The Radio Bureau.

The Comms Council congratulates all finalists and winners on another outstanding year of ideas and effectiveness.
