HAMILTON, Today: Film and content studio 2113 is growing fast, bringing a fresh lineup of directors and photographers into the fold—strengthening both its creative output and commercial muscle in the process.
Co-founders Miryam Jacobi and Jack Barry have led the charge, with recent work including a standout TVC for Fieldays, a heartfelt Matariki doco for Contiki, and a string of music videos for iconic Kiwi artists.
Joining the crew are some serious talents: director and actor Mia Blake, multi-talented Rutene Spooner, up-and-comer Matavai Taulangau, and Waikato-based photographers Ash Muir and Levi Santana.
“I am really excited to have brought together this strong roster of talent, not just because they are some of the most exciting creatives and makers, but because they each bring truly unique and distinct voices, at a level I haven’t seen elsewhere.” – Jack Barry
Backed by a new studio space and creative hub in booming Kirikiriroa Hamilton, 2113 is ready to scale, with experience across scripted, commercial, and music-led projects.
“I am really excited to have brought together this strong roster of talent, not just because they are some of the most exciting creatives and makers, but because they each bring truly unique and distinct voices, at a level I haven’t seen elsewhere.
We are excited to work alongside these incredibly talented Directors and Photographers to partner with agencies and clients in creating strong stories, impactful and fun work,” says co-founder Jack Barry.
Last December, they also launched Dailies Studio—a sister brand offering studio space, gear, and post-production hire, helping lift the creative infrastructure for Waikato-based productions.
