Arrivals & Departures: New marketing chief at Mitre 10

Mitre 10 has appointed Jules Lloyd-Jones to the position of general manager marketing starting late July. She joins the Mitre 10 team from Foodstuffs NZ where she has held the group brand director role for the past five years.

“Jules has an outstanding record of achievement, and is a strategic and creative marketer who brings significant experience in brand, sponsorship, digital and retail marketing,” sad Mitre 10 ceo Neil Cowie.

“She has significant experience working in a co-operative environment and is a highly skilled marketer so I am absolutely delighted to welcome her to Mitre 10.”

Lloyd-Jones will have responsibility for all national marketing initiatives across the network of 82 Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 Mega stores.

NZ Marketer of the Year
Her marketing experience includes Telstra Clear, Air New Zealand, McDonald’s and most recently Foodstuffs. In 2015 she was named as NZ Marketer of the Year, and has served as a member of the Marketing Association board, from 2015 to 2017.
