When you live with cystic fibrosis, no breath is taken for granted

AUCKLAND, Today: Cystic Fibrosis NZ is rallying the marketing and ad world to help raise funds for Kiwis living with cystic fibrosis — and they’ve found a pretty creative way to do it.

They’ve opened a pop-up store in Britomart called AIR FOR ALL, and yes, they’re literally selling jars of air. But not just any air — this is marketing-grade air.

The jars are filled with crisp, coastal air straight from Cannes. Triple-purified and hand-delivered from the French Riviera, each one is made for those who appreciate the finer things.

“No breath is taken for granted.”

Every jar sold helps fund Cystic Fibrosis NZ’s support services — things like advocacy, grants, and social worker support for the 600 New Zealanders living with this life-shortening condition.

AIR FOR ALL is open at 52 Tyler Street, Britomart from Thursday 15 May through Sunday 18 May. Hours are 10am to 6pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to 2pm on Sunday.

So, why sell air? Because people living with cystic fibrosis often struggle to do something most of us never think about — breathing. “No breath is taken for granted.”
