Air NZ, Whittaker, HPA, NZME, BP, AA up for NZ Marketing Awards finals

The finalists – just announced for the 2018 TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards – show an 8% increase in the number of unique entrants, and a 25% increase in finalist numbers.

With the first round of judging complete, new convenor of judges Michael Friedberg (head of market strategy at ‎IBM Digital Business Group Auckland) said: “The competition this year was tough, but I am delighted to see a number of finalists making it through multiple times as well as some new entrant.”

Leading the way with six finalist nominations are JH Whittaker & Sons (including as a finalist in the Rookie Marketer of the Year category), Air NZ and the Health Promotion Agency (one of their entries is alongside the Stroke Foundation). NZME and BP Oil NZ both have five finalist entries and the NZ Automobile Association and AA Insurance are also in the running with four finalist entries. 

The winners will be unveiled on the evening of Thursday 13 September at The Cordis Auckland. Tickets cost $215+gst (MA members) and $245+gst (non-members).
