Ogilvy creatives take scissors to 2017 election campaigns

Five senior creatives from Ogilvy & Mather shared their views – in depth – on this year’s NZ general election campaigns with Herald on Sunday readers yesterday. They even took sharp blue pencils to some of the work, including the slogans.

The Ogilvy people were group creative directors Jonathan McMahon and Lisa Fedyszyn (both ex Droga5 New York, where they worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential election campaign), ECD Regan Grafton, art director Sam Henderson and creative Kent Briggs.

The results, which the HoS presented along with the ads, were thought-provoking, to say the least.
