BEIJING, Today: The One Club Greater China has named Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney ECD Rebecca Carrasco and VMLY&R NZ ECD Kim Pick as curators for The One Show Asia Showcase.

The pair are among 48 creative leaders from the region to manage the selection of the showcase, a free programme honouring the best work from the past year from throughout Asia and APAC.

With Covid-19, this event will be more informal than the usual One Club events.

The One Club Asia Showcase is open to agencies in Australia and New Zealand, and free to submit. There’s less than one week to enter – the extended deadline is this Sunday 25 October.

“Under the Covid-19 disruption, The One Club has unveiled its Asia Showcase, where the best work will be free to submit and showcased online.

The selection committee will curate work based on an understanding of creative excellence with global, regional and local perspectives. Curation will take place in November, and the selected work will be announced in December.

Under the disruption of the industry caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, The One Club announced The One Show Greater China Awards would for this year become The One Show Asia Showcase, where the best work from Asia and APAC will be free to submit and be showcased online.

Eligible regions are Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Mainland China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

There are no Gold, Silver or Bronze award this year. Instead, certificates will be presented.
