AUCKLAND, Wednesday: Sustainability is oOh!media NZ’s focus this week as they help bring the release of the adidas Stan Smith shoe to life with a custom built, eco-friendly shelter.
oOh!’s Auckland-based head of sales Ben Gibb said: “The high-impact Superama Special Build shelter celebrates the release of the revised Stan Smith adidas sneaker through a full takeover of the site.
“The unique special build process involved replacing the four light panels with pavement to ceiling living foliage creating multiple living walls. The shelter take-over gives adidas 100% share of voice through the custom oOh! Superama wrap.
“By 2050, there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish, now is the time to create change. adidas has taken their sustainability principles above the line ensuring that all OOH materials have been created from completely sustainable and green materials.
“The new Sustainable Stan Smith utilises 17 plastic bottles in each pair of shoes, with no compromise to the iconic look.”
“We haven’t done anything like this to this scale before, so it was really exciting to see it come to life with adidas utilising the creative potential of oOh! Studio’s Special Builds. As well the sustainability conscious values of this campaign align with our focus moving forward – a perfect partnership.
“oOh!media offers a wide range of creative out-of-home build projects from 3D Special Builds and AR-led shelter takeovers through oOh!’s Studio department.”
