Arrivals & Departures: Optus taps Vodafone man

Australia’s second-largest telecoms company Optus has appointed Vodafone NZ consumer director Matt Williams to the new role of marketing & revenue managing director, after an internal restructure.

Williams joins Optus after 12 years with Vodafone with stints in New Zealand, Greece and the UK. In his new role he will be responsible for Optus’ brand and marketing along with product management, customer value and data analytics.
