Jones will join Pead’s technology/entertainment/corporate team, which works on leading local and global brands including Xero, Precinct Properties, UP Education and NZ King Salmon.

Pead PR managing partner Sarah Munnik said: “Stephen’s wealth of corporate experience reinforces the agency’s position as a leading full-service PR agency.

“He joins us with more than 15 years of experience in some of the most high-profile, high-pressure positions in New Zealand including government advisory roles and in-house corporate communications positions.

“He has previously held senior roles at the Corrections Department, and the offices of Nat MPs Judith Collins and Anne Tolley.”

“Stephen is the definition of a corporate communications specialist. At the end of the day our clients need results.”

Jones says he jumped at the opportunity to work at Pead: “The reputation of both the senior leadership team and Pead as an agency speaks for itself.”
