
NEW YORK, Today: Agencies from Australia and New Zealand have bagged 23 Pencils at The One Show 2025, with two standout Golds going to Bear Meets Eagle On Fire and Colenso BBDO.
Announced just ahead of tomorrow night’s Creative Week 2025 finale in New York, the Pencil and Merit winners are now out. The major Best of and of the Year gongs are still to come.
Australia’s Gold went to Bear Meets Eagle On Fire Sydney and crew, for Telstra’s “Better On a Better Mobile Network” in the Moving Image Craft & Production category. Big effort across teams.
New Zealand’s Gold went to Colenso BBDO Auckland and partners for Adoptable. By Pedigree., picking up the top award in Creative Use of Data for Mars NZ. A great use of media and heart.

On the global stage, FCB New York stole the show with a massive 35 Golds, including 28 for their Spotify campaign “Spreadbeats.” It became this year’s most awarded entry.
Out of 19,860 submissions across 62 countries, the 2025 jury awarded 157 Golds, 197 Silvers, 270 Bronze, and a whopping 1,026 Merits across 55 nations. A record-breaking year.
Tomorrow night’s awards will be hosted by comedian Leslie Jones, who’s best known for Saturday Night Live and multiple Emmy nominations. Expect laughs and standout moments.
Winners of The One Show 2025 Global Creative Rankings will be announced on May 19. It’s one of the most anticipated creative benchmarks of the year.
Creative Week has now been running 16 years strong. It’s where the global industry gathers to celebrate standout ideas and talk about what’s next in creativity.
