AUCKLAND, Today: PRINZ has confirmed its new executive committee following last month’s AGM, welcoming Celia Crosbie APR and Travis Logan APR alongside returning members Jacquie Boer, Morwenna Mitson-Grills and Eruini Paranihi for the year ahead.
At their first meeting, Morwenna Mitson-Grills APR was elected PRINZ Chair, with Jacquie Boer APR FPRINZ appointed Deputy Chair. Both bring serious experience and energy to the leadership team.
Morwenna kicked off her career in journalism at the BBC and Sky News before moving to Aotearoa. Since then, she’s worked in several government departments and as a Press Secretary.
She’s currently Communications Manager at Te Tumu Paeroa, where she champions the daily use of Te Reo Māori. She’s also led the PRINZ Central Division, mentored APR candidates and judged the PRINZ Awards five years running.
Morwenna says, “I can’t thank PRINZ members enough for the warm welcome and ongoing support I’ve had since arriving in Aotearoa ten years ago. To now be elected Chair is a real honour, particularly with such a fantastic group of practitioners on the Committee.”
