PRINZ reappoints APR Chief Examiner

AUCKLAND, Today: PRINZ has confirmed Suzy Giles will return as Chief Examiner for the 2026 APR programme, with Dr Deepti Bhargava continuing as Moderator for another year.

The APR gives practitioners the chance to formally demonstrate their professional knowledge and ethical judgement across the full scope of public relations and communications practice.

Giles steps back into the Chief Examiner role for a second consecutive year, guiding candidates through the assessment process and ensuring the high standard required for accreditation is maintained.

With more than 20 years’ experience across branding, reputation and strategy, Giles brings strong sustainability expertise. She now leads Giles Global Ltd, specialising in sustainability communications.

Her international credentials include chairing the UNDP/ICCO Climate Communications Task Force and the CIPR ESG Network, alongside judging major global communications awards.

Bhargava continues as Moderator for a third year, providing oversight of the examination process and supporting programme integrity.

She is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at AUT, teaching across advertising, digital communication and public relations, with research spanning DEI, AI and strategic communication.

Applications for the 2026 APR intake are open now and close on Friday 13 March 2026 at 5pm.
