AUCKLAND, Today: Publicis Groupe ANZ has announced several senior leadership changes across New Zealand, signalling continued momentum for the business and a sharper focus on delivering stronger outcomes for clients through talent, technology and innovation.
MBM CEO LeeAnn Morris will step into a newly created role as Chief Media Officer, Publicis Groupe New Zealand, expanding her responsibilities across the wider group.
In the role, Morris will work closely with senior leadership across Oceania, including Imogen Hewitt, ANZ Chief Media Officer, helping accelerate client outcomes through Publicis Groupe’s connected capabilities.
Her focus will span capability integration, talent development and ensuring clients benefit from the Groupe’s global strengths in data, AI and technology, alongside the rollout of advanced tools and platforms worldwide.
At agency level, recruitment has begun for a new General Manager to lead MBM’s Auckland office as the agency continues to grow.
Spark Foundry NZ’s Kelly Rosnell-Shand has also been promoted, moving from General Manager of Client Service to General Manager of the agency.
“These leadership changes reflect the strength and ambition of our business in New Zealand.” – Michael Rebelo, Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO
Rosnell-Shand has been with Spark Foundry since launching in New Zealand and is widely respected for building strong client partnerships while helping shape the agency’s culture.
Further changes see Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand’s Mark Cochrane stepping into the new role of Director of Growth & Transformation, Publicis Groupe New Zealand.
Cochrane will lead new business and transformation initiatives across the Groupe. During the transition, Saatchi & Saatchi Australia Managing Director Toby Aldred will step in as interim CEO.
Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO Michael Rebelo says the leadership changes reflect the strength and ambition of the business locally.
“These leadership changes reflect the strength and ambition of our business in New Zealand. As our Groupe evolves, so too do the responsibilities of our leaders, and these changes build on a strong foundation and reflect the scale and trajectory of the business, positioning us well for the future.
“LeeAnn is an exceptional leader with a clear view of where media is heading and how we harness technology, AI and talent to deliver meaningful results for clients. Her expanded role will help ensure our clients continue to benefit from the full scale, innovation and expertise of Publicis Groupe.
“Over his 18 years with Saatchi & Saatchi, Mark has made a significant contribution across the organisation, and the agency is well positioned for its next stage of growth.”
