AUCKLAND, Today: QMS NZ has signed on as major sponsor of the Beacon Awards, marking a broader partnership with the Commercial Communications Council across some of the industry’s biggest events and initiatives.
The new deal gives QMS major partner rights for the Beacon Awards, Aotearoa’s leading media awards programme, while also backing the Comms Council’s wider calendar.
That includes support for AXIS Speaks, the Comms Council’s flagship thought leadership event bringing together some of the most influential creative and strategic minds in advertising, marketing and communications.
The Beacon Awards celebrate excellence in media thinking and planning, with a sharp focus on the role media plays in driving business outcomes for clients and brands.
The programme involves more than 100 senior national and international judges over a five-month entry and judging process, before wrapping with a gala dinner attended by around 700 industry people.
That makes it the biggest media-focused event on the local calendar, drawing agencies, media owners and senior marketers from across Aotearoa.
