AUCKLAND, Today: A major new out of home landmark has landed in Wellington, with QMS NZ / MediaWorks and Wellington Airport unveiling the first external digital large format billboard outside the airport exit.

Positioned to command attention on the main arterial route into the CBD, “The WLG”, named after Wellington’s airport code, is a 15 metre by 5 metre screen designed to stop traffic, figuratively at least.

The landmark site delivers standout exposure to all vehicles leaving the airport toward central business and government districts, making it one of the most impactful OOH locations in the Wellington region.
