AUCKLAND, Today: Motion Sickness has been appointed global creative and brand partner for Shine Lawyers, adding another big win to the agency’s impressive run of growth in 2025.

The move follows Motion Sickness’ unconventional approach, which connected with Shine Lawyers’ vision for the future.

“Motion Sickness’ work stood out because it doesn’t look or feel like advertising. Their thinking is fresh, unexpected, and gets to the heart of how people connect with ideas,” says Shannan Madden, Chief Marketing Officer at Shine.

“That’s exactly what we need as we continue to evolve our brand.”

The partnership pushes Motion Sickness further into Australia, following global recognition including two Cannes Lions Grand Prix this year. It highlights the agency’s ambition to keep building momentum across the region.

Alex McManus, GM of Motion Sickness says, “We’re stoked to be working with Shine Lawyers. They came to us with big ambitions and a real appetite for doing things differently, which is the kind of brief we love.

“The work we pitched pushed well beyond traditional advertising, and it’s exciting to be partnering with a client who’s ready to lean into that. Australia is a big focus for us as we continue to grow, and Shine’s people – driven by a strong conviction to right wrong – are who we want to be working with.”

This latest account adds to Motion Sickness’ growing international roster, which already includes Ora and Les Mills International, cementing its place as one of the fastest-growing independents in the Southern Hemisphere.
