Asia-Pacific creativity festival the Spikes Asia has merged with the Tangrams Effectiveness awards programme, which will now sit alongside Spikes Asia 2017.

The 2017 festival – with the APAC Tangrams in place – will be held in Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre from Wednesday 27 September to Friday 29 September, and is now open for delegate registration.

Tangrams’ focus is marketing effectiveness and strategy. “Tangrams recognise and celebrate marketing ideas that deliver solid results to transform businesses and brands,” said Spikes co-chair Terry Savage. “The Tangrams Effectiveness at Spikes programme will explore in depth how strategies are impacting businesses, brands and the wider industry.

“The inclusion of Tangrams Effectiveness is totally appropriate and a step forward in terms of both inspiration and learning in this increasingly complex landscape. It’s a benefit to the creatives, it’s a benefit to the marketers – a festival that encompasses all that is important in our industry.”

Dedicated Tangrams stage
The Tangrams Effectiveness @ Spikes programme will kick-start with a full celebration of all the awards winners at the Tangrams Awards ceremony on the first evening of the festival. The trophies and points awarded to each submission at Tangrams will count towards the Tangrams Agency of the Year and Tangrams Network of the Year special awards.

Over the next two days, delegates can then witness topics and viewpoints on marketing effectiveness on a dedicated stage.

Providing further opportunities for investing in young talent, the Festival will expand its Talent and Training inititatives to include the Tangrams Effectiveness Academy. The Academy will run alongside the Young Marketers Academy, Young Creative Academy, Young Media Academy, Young Account Executive Academy and Young Digital Academy, offering a comprehensive three-day programme that places effectiveness at the heart of the business.

Tangrams Effectiveness @ Spikes will be open to all registered delegates as part of the full Spikes Asia Festival agenda. A full Spikes Asia delegate registration will include access to the Tangrams Awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 September, the Spikes Asia awards on Friday 29 September and three full days of festival programme which includes two days of Tangrams Effectiveness @ Spikes.
