AUCKLAND, Today: The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi and Stuff Group are extending their partnership, joining forces once again to bring the arts into mainstream media and share Aotearoa’s creative stories with bigger audiences.

Stuff Digital and The Post have re-signed as key strategic partners. Together, they’ll spotlight artists and ensure New Zealand’s arts scene gets the recognition and reach it deserves.

Jessica Palalagi, General Manager of The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi said, “The creative sector contributes so much to Aotearoa – both in economic and cultural terms but to ensure its future it needs the support of big players who believe in its value.”

Palalagi added, “Stuff has shown extraordinary leadership as a dynamic New Zealand business committed to backing creativity. Because of this partnership, artists’ stories are being given a national platform across The Post and Stuff – and that visibility is vital for our culture.”

“This year The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi celebrates 25 years of impact – a milestone that is not just about reflecting on the past 25 years, but also looking to our next chapter, building the strongest possible future for our artists.” – Jessica Palalagi

Stuff Group Owner and Publisher Sinead Boucher said, “Artists shape and reflect our national identity, bringing a richness to our daily lives that is needed now more than ever. It is a privilege to support Te Tumu Toi and to tell their stories.”

Palalagi noted that Stuff, alongside One NZ, is setting the standard for major businesses backing creativity. Their leadership has been bolstered by the new Arts Business Club, a collective of companies pledging support for Te Tumu Toi.

Founding members include Xero, Kiwibank, House of Travel, Daily Bread, Barfoot & Thompson, Webb’s, Meadow Mushrooms, SHIFT Advisory, Forsyth Barr Ltd, Blacks Construction, JB Were and Art + Object.
