Stuff appoints new leader to champion growth initiatives

AUCKLAND, Today: Stuff has appointed Laura Maxwell (Taranaki Ngāti Mutunga and Te Āti Awa) to the executive role of chief growth officer. Most recently she’s been a digital consultant after working at NZME for many years as chief digital officer and chief commercial officer.

She held the roles of ceo of OneRoof, Driven and GrabOne during her tenure and is adept at leading high performing teams.

In these roles she was responsible for revenue growth as well as developing and implementing a group-wide strategy to accelerate growth across multiple brands, particularly in the areas of digital customers (subscribers/audiences) and classified offerings, digital content platforms, data and digital monetisation. 

Maxwell will be responsible for driving Stuff’s key ventures and growth initiatives across the company, including Neighbourly which has just under 1 million members in neighbourhoods all around the country.
