SYDNEY, Sunday: Aussie trade rag Campaign Brief reports that Toby Talbot set to return to a Transtasman role after two years at C14TORCE in Spain.

DB ed Michael Lynch writes that he’s heard that the multi-awarded chief creative officer Talbot is set to return to a major, soon-to-be announced at a global ad agency network in early 2022.

Talbot is currently CCO at C14TORCE Barcelona, a role he took in February 2020, after departing the CCO position at Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand. which he’d held for three years.

“Attempts to contact Talbot in Spain have so far been unsuccessful.”

Before that he was CCO at DDB Sydney, and was behind the most awarded mobile campaign in the world #comeonin for Sydney Opera House; and before then at DDB New Zealand, where he won Campaign Asia’s Creative of the Year.

Lynch says Talbot is currently the No 2 ECD in the world on the global Bestadsontv Creative Rankings over the last 18 years.

“Ogilvy and Clemenger are favoured,” says Lynch, “although Toby’s still a bit young for Clemenger.”

Attempts to contact Talbot in Spain – by both CB and M+AD – have so far been unsuccessful.

The summer of Sydney?
