Kiwi writer/actor/comedian duo Millen Baird & Cohen Holloway will emcee tonite’s big Effie Awards show in The Great Room at the Langham Auckland.
A sell-out crowd of 500 is expected.
The doors open for drinks at 6.30pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm.
There’s a dinner break an hour into the show, during which the live auction in support of Breast Cancer Cure will be held (every dollar raised will be matched by the NZ Health Research Council – if the auction meets its $20,000 target).
Show-goers will also be entertained by a jazz quartet and pianist Andy Cochrane. And NZME & TVNZ will be doing “substantial” prize giveaways.
The Effies show will finish around 10pm, but the after-party (in the same room) is scheduled to run till midnight.
