SYDNEY, Today: TRA’s Australian business is continuing its strong growth, marked by a run of senior promotions and a move into a new Sydney headquarters.
The market research agency opened in Sydney in 2022 with just four employees. It has now grown to 14 people, with more roles currently being recruited as the local team and client base continue to expand.
To support that growth, TRA has moved from The Commons into a new headquarters in Surry Hills.
The building was previously home to Special Australia and The Hughes Gallery, giving TRA a fresh base in one of Sydney’s best-known creative neighbourhoods.
The refurbished office was developed with José Gutiérrez, founder of boutique architectural design practice José Gutiérrez Ltd.

Alongside the move, TRA has announced a wave of promotions across its Sydney and Melbourne teams. In Sydney, Ferne McKinley has been promoted from Account Director to Senior Account Director.
McKinley joined TRA in Auckland in 2019 as an insights specialist before relocating to Sydney in 2022 as a Senior Consultant. Her promotion marks nearly seven years with the company.
