AUCKLAND, Today: NZ-owned Tranzit Group (1000+ vehicles nationwide) has appointed outdoor company Go Media as its exclusive vendor to manage advertising sales across its fleet of buses in Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Whanganui and Wairarapa, effective from Monday 1 June.

Other neighbouring bus markets Go Media represents includes Wellington and Nelson.

Tranzit sales & marketing manager Helen Tickner said: “Go Media demonstrated a high level of expertise in managing bus advertising around the country, and being a New Zealand family-owned business, their values aligned well with ours.”

In addition to providing advertisers the ad-format of Fullbacks, Go Media will bring to market Traffic Supersides and Lower Curbsides too.

The Traffic Superside, which goes over the window, is growing in popularity with national advertisers, and at near 5m x 3m they deliver impressive visual impact.

“Another benefit of bus media is they build higher audience reach levels than roadside billboards,” Tickner said.

Go Media GM Simon Teagle said: “We’re excited to provide advertisers with a greater number of outdoor opportunities in the regions, and to make it easier for them to book multiple markets with a single call’.
