AUCKLAND, Today: Indie agency YoungShand has bolstered its creative team with the addition of Hannah Habgood as head of copy, and Julie Spedding as senior art director.

Hannah Habgood is returning to the industry from maternity leave. She has 10 years’ experience at home and overseas.

ECD Anne Boothroyd said: “As soon as I met Hannah, it was clear that she is passionate about creating insightful, human-centred work and has the skills to deliver it. Hannah’s mission is to create impactful work, worth leaving her gorgeous wee boy for.”

Habgood said: “Post-maternity leave, my priorities have become clearer. That’s why I’m excited that YoungShand is where I’m heading.

“An interesting, diverse range of clients who do good for people and look to the future; an empathetic and fun group of talented people, plus close proximity to the Banh Mi at Fusion Cafe – what more could you ask for?”

Also joining YoungShand’s creative lineup is Julie Spedding. She has been working with the team for a few months in a freelance capacity and joins as a senior art director.

Boothroyd: “I have had the pleasure of working with Jules for a while now. She is one of those rare creatives who are not only deeply talented but knows how to make great ideas happen.”

Spedding: “It is always a pleasure working with Anne. She’s got an incredible vision to create meaningful work that has a purpose and will truly make a difference. That combined with the talent of the rest of the team, who are a brilliant bunch of people, meant it was a no-brainer for me.”

Both roles are effective immediately.
