Flying Fish’s content/emerging-talent division Fish&Clips has appointed Saffron Jackson as their new head of content, responsible for producing advertising content for all platforms and leading the independent F&C director roster out of Flying Fish HQ on Ponsonby Road.

Prior to joining Fish&Clips, Jackson (originally from the UK) started her career in commercials in Production in London.

From there she worked at Grey London and then moved into TV, producing work at Channel 4, ITV, BBC, Five and Sky for shows like I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Big Brother.

Since living in New Zealand she has produced local shows Real Housewives of Auckland, The Block and My Kitchen Rules.

“We’ve already hit the ground running in 2018 with Saffron producing work for numerous campaigns,” said Flying Fish executive producer Sam Attenborough.

“It’s fantastic to have her on board and already seeing the impact she’s making with our projects and clients. Saffron is already part of the family.”

“F&C have produced work for Microsoft, Fonterra, Genesis, Moa, Woodstock, AT, Kiwisaver, Ezibuy, Ford, VW, Noel Leeming.”

In 2013 Fish&Clips opened up their offering to advertising agencies and clients, making available their independent roster of fledgling and experienced directors for all levels of content. Since then F&C have produced work for Microsoft, Fonterra, Danone, Genesis Energy, Moa Beer, Woodstock, Auckland Transport, Kiwisaver, Birds Eye, G Shock, Ezibuy, Energy Online, Ford, VW and Noel Leeming Group.

“Saffron has such a diverse production background producing a breadth of dynamic content,” said Fish MD James Moore. “We’re really excited to welcome her to the team.

“We’ve worked solidly over the years to evolve and grow Fish&Clips from just being about producing high end music videos. It continues to be a great launching pad for the top notch roster of up-and-coming directors.

“With Saffron leading the Fish&Clips team we’re really looking forward to the future with her.”
