Beautiful vocals from a Kiwi songstress and finely understated performances by two global stars make Air New Zealand’s new safety video out of True Auckland and Assembly a standout in the genre.

The A Fantastical Journey video is an Alice in Wonderland-inspired adventure featuring iconic NZ landmarks.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Gin Wigmore recorded her own version of My Little Corner of the World as the backing track to the video, which stars Katie Holmes and Cuba Gooding Jr.

Holmes said it had been fun working alongside Cuba Gooding Jr and the Air New Zealand crew to produce A Fantastical Journey.

“The safety video is creative, magical and funny. The scenery is also beautiful and makes me want to get down to New Zealand!”, a sentiment echoed by Gooding Jr who says he loves the different approach.

“I’ve also enjoyed working with Katie Holmes and Kiwi artist Gin Wigmore,” he said. “Her voice is enchanting and soothing – exactly what you need for safety video!”

Air New Zealand’s safety videos have collectively generated more than 108 million views online to date.
