AUCKLAND, Friday: Duncan Greive and his wife Nicola (a lawyer at the Serious Fraud Office) and their team at independent news service The Spinoff are celebrating their 14 nominations for this year’s NPA Voyager Media Awards.

Spinoff noms included feature writer Alex Casey, best opinion writers Madeleine Chapman & Dylan Cleaver,junior feature writer Shanti Mathias, best reviewer Claire Mabey, best artist/graphic design, Best arts & culture reporter Sam Brooks, and community journalist Justin Latif.

NZME and Stuff were also prominent finalists.

102 experts from New Zealand, Australia, Rarotonga, USA and the UK co-judged in groups of between two and four to select winners from 1650 entries.279 finalists across 64 awards were selected.


“The winners will be announced at The Cordis, on Saturday evening 27 May – tickets cost $250 each.”
