NEW YORK, Monday: TBWA\ NZ was named as a contender twice (in Finance) for ANZ Bank Mr Humfreez, and 2degrees Fighting. DDB Aotearoa was recognised in Restaurants for McDonald’s Return of the Mac(ca’s).

The competition received work from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Netherlands, NZ, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, UK, USA and Uruguay.
The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards were open to all 2019 and 2020 Gold and Grand Effie winners from Effie’s regional and national programmes.
The winners will be announced at a virtual celebration in one week – one Tuesday 16 November.
