AUCKLAND, Monday: Entries are now open for the 2021 Outstanding Radio Creative Awards (aka The Orcas). There are two prize categories, with judging based on four criteria: Creativity, execution, effectiveness, and innovation.
The Grand Orca carries a $10,000 total cash prize, a $10,000 client radio campaign, and an Orca trophy.
The People’s Choice Award is a $2000 total cash prize, a $5000 client radio campaign, and an Orca trophy.
The competition is open to creatives whose campaign audio will air on a New Zealand commercial radio station within the competition period of 30 June 2020 to 30 June 30 2021.
Notorious
Orca entries are notoriously easy to complete, with just an audio file and basic campaign details required.
