AUCKLAND, Sunday: Goat Farm creative director Vaughn Davis took on a slightly different creative challenge at the weekend and performed a solo aerobatics display at the NZ Warbirds airshow at Ardmore, South Auckland.
Vaughn (a former RNZAF pilot) was flying a 70-year-old ex-RAF De Havilland Chipmunk alongside faster and noisier participants including a Mustang, Spitfire and Strikemaster jet.
While the moves looked spectacular from the ground, they’re nothing new to the TGF team, Davis says. “We make a point of treating every new team member and the odd keen client to an aerobatics flight, or what we like to call a high-level meeting.”
