AUCKLAND, Friday: Freemans Bay indie, Republik, is pleased to announce the appointment of Monique Porteous as the agency’s social media manager. She starts on Monday 6 September.
Porteous has experience across a diverse portfolio of clients. Her previous two roles being in boutique agencies specialising in FMCG and the social media ecosystem. “It goes without saying, she has a wealth of knowledge to bring to Republik,” said head of digital Matt Lyne.
“Her passion for social initially started through her studies where she wrote her thesis on ‘Engaging content online’, after researching the industry she decided to make a career of it and get into agency life.
“In her most recent role at Food Marketing, Monique worked very closely with clients developing and leading their social strategies, briefing and creating the content, through to implementation and optimising from reporting learnings.”
