The 6th annual Pool Collective awards – an Australian comp that rewards an emerging artist with $10,000 towards a photographic project – is expanding its call for entries to work from NZ.
The Pool grant was created to support emerging talent, with Pool artists acting as mentors throughout the creative process.
The successful candidate will be announced at the opening night of an exhibition by last year’s winner, Kate Disher-Quill, called Right Hear, Right Now on Thursday 7 May at District 01 Gallery, Sydney.
To enter, submit your artist statement (150 words max) and a proposal (300 words max) outlining how you will bring your vision to life, along with some examples of your photography. Send these to the Pool website (above).
