ABs taste Silver & Gold in NYC

Just one success for NZ at the Clio Sports Advertising Awards in New York at the weekend – but it was a Silver, and no doubt made the good folks at Grey Lynn agency True very happy.

True’s winning work was Air New Zealand Crazy About Rugby – Air New Zealand’s Sponsorship of the All Blacks, in the Partnerships, Sponsorships & Endorsements category. (That’s it, above.)

UK’s AIG Haka 360 wins Gold
Also waving the NZ flag at Clio was Octagon London which picked up Gold in Digital Mobile for a virtual reality app – AIG’s The Haka 360 Experience.

If there’s Kiwi connection here – apart from the subject matter – M+AD couldn’t detect it.

Appropriately, the judges included a Kiwi – Todd Barberel, New Zealand Rugby’s head of marketing, brand & commercial development.
