Thailand wants YOU! M+AD!

AdFest Thailand is now accepting entries to the 21st Lotus Awards, the longest-running advertising awards show in the Asia Pacific region.

“Last year, AdFest celebrated its 20th anniversary and it was our best and boldest festival yet,” said awards president Jimmy Lam.

“In 2018, we are entering our third decade as a festival that’s proudly ‘Made in Asia’. We are now recruiting top regional creative professionals as next year’s jurors, giving them the task of unearthing groundbreaking work that’s worthy of winning.

“I encourage all companies with a passion for creativity and excellence in craftsmanship to enter.”

There are 18 categories in total, seven of which will be judged remotely in the first round of judging. The entry deadline for the following categories is Friday 12 January:

Film Lotus (includes internet film)
Innova Lotus
Integrated Lotus
Interactive Lotus
Mobile Lotus
Radio Lotus
(Lotus Roots sub-categories in the categories above will also be judged remotely.)

AdFest has introduced sub-categories to the Innova Lotus category, and for the first time, shortlisted Innova entries are required to present their works to juries and delegates on the morning of Wednesday 21 March in Pattaya.

AdFest chairman Vinit Suraphongchai said, “We want to give the creators of shortlisted Innova entries the chance to present their work to a live audience at AdFest. Not only will it give them the opportunity to explain their thinking directly to our judges, but our audience will learn so much from the case studies they present.”

AdFest 2018 runs from Wednesday 21 March to Saturday 24 March at the Peach Royal Cliff Resort, Pattaya, Thailand, with the theme TRANSFORM.
