Global performance marketing platform AdRoll, which claims to have over 25,000 clients worldwide, went right under the radar as it surreptitiously pulled out of NZ and Australia, and relocated to Dublin.
AdRoll NZ was managed from Sydney, but has been quite active in the NZ market for some time, and it’s not known why they quit.
There were no press releases – but we had noticed management staffers were pulling their email subscriptions from M+AD. And their website (www.adroll.com) was also secretively closed down.
Aussie newssheet Mumbrella reported that the company’s Sydney office and Asia-Pacific operations will now be managed by AdRoll’s Dublin-based EMEA vice-president, Marius Smyth.
AdRoll’s previous Sydney staffers refused to speak to Mumbrella about the changes, instead referring inquiries to their San Francisco press office while the Sydney switchboard now diverts to the company’s US headquarters.
